It's been a tough start to the new year, but things are definitely looking up. I've started slowly working on my plan for both personal and business growth, and it feels GOOD! I don't feel so stuck and I'm really motivated to make some biiiiiiiiig changes.
Today was my first weigh-in of 2012 (I weigh every Friday morning unless I'm traveling) and I didn't gain any weight over the holidays. Whoo! I wouldn't ever expect to lose weight this time of year, but I always work hard to try and at least maintain. So it was good news on the scale today. :)
And as a little...wee...tiny reward, I ordered:
Oh yes! Can't wait for these to arrive (tomorrow, I think). I have been needing some neutral shoes and I've loved these since I tried them on last fall at Nordstrom. And I say a *tiny* reward because I found them for...hold on...wait for it...$36.00. !!! I love a great bargain and I probably wouldn't have pulled the trigger for $75 right now, which seems to be the going price on most sites, but these fit my "practical shoe" goal and DEFINITELY fit my budget.
I've got some other hopefuls stashed in wish lists and shopping carts, but this is a tight time for my biz - lots of expenditures with relatively little income - so I have to be careful for the next six weeks or so. But I can thank Shopbop for helping me out in this case.
BTW the only color that was this inexpensive was the beige (I think they call it "beach"). Here's the link if you want to peek for yourself: Shopbop Final Sale Lyla
Right now it looks like they have 8.5 and 10 left in the nude color. They're listed at $45 but I used the code EXTRA20 for an additional 20% off, which made them a sweet $36. It may still work if you want to try it. Buy now, thank me later! :)
